If you joined the circus, what act would you most want to perform?
Setting free the elephants. The lions and bears, too. Pretty much all of the animals. Only not just setting them free - somehow magically restoring their lost habitats and returning them home, so they can heal up from the bullhook scars and other injuries that are all just part of being "trained" to entertain people.
After that? Maybe the trapeze.
Today is "Evaluate Your Life Day." So, tell us: how do you think you're life's going so far?
Clearly my li'fe does not ha've enough random apostrophes. Im telling' you, I think every'one needs more of them.
If you had to give up either email or the telephone for the rest of your life, which one would your forgo?
Telephone. No doubt.
Would you ever want to be a model? Why or why not?
I would like to be a model airplane.
The other day, a coworker sent me this - Chola makeup tutorial, where I learned all about the ozone layers and how to make my eyebrows better with a Sharpie. Under related videos, I noticed she'd also done a "whore makeup tutorial." (Those are not safe for work, unless you work around foul mouthed truck drivers.)
Youtube decided to show me more, after that, and when I opened it today to look up a song, it had brought this up as a recommended video - 51 Things Found in My Room.
It appears to be a fairly big youtube trend.
Lizziespence highlighted her glasses, cameras, and...ballet slippers.
HurricaneAubrey has a pretty large assortment of Nintendo handhelds.
Some people just can't stop dancing to bad techno.
Does she ever wear all that eyeshadow?
He licks things. He should use some of HurricaneAubrey's hand sanitizer. On his 51 licked things.
Have any of you done these, or is it just a game for the kids with webcams and loads of time on their hands? I find them strangely fascinating. So much STUFF. It almost makes me feel better about how much STUFF I still have, even after garage sales, trips to Goodwill, and craigslist postings. When I get it all packed I may find myself with even less, and a trunk of even more stuff to go to Goodwill.
Sometimes when things are horrible and frustrating and I want to just wipe the day out and start over, I go to the PetSmart down the street, where they always have some non profit group doing kitty (and sometimes puppy) adoptions. I spend 20 minutes just petting the kitties or playing with the pups, and it totally makes everything better.
Does that make me pathetic?
Do you ever forget about a photo you took, and get an email about a new comment on flickr, and look at it, and think, "Hey, *I* took that!"
Sometimes I think about starting up a free account just for photos I really like. What three things do you regret not learning to do?
Whistling.
Scuba diving.
Sailing. (The only one of the three I ever had an opportunity to learn. But I blew it off. Grr.)
